Addo Elephant Park and the Addo area have a number of "to do" things.
Visit the Addo Raptor and Reptile Centre and get to learn about the birds of prey, snakes, crocodiles and small mammals in the area.
Visit a number of private reserves in the area. Scotia Safaris offer a really great and value for money package. Do the whole day or just half a day and get to see their Lions, giraffe, hippo and rhino up close.
Go on a Amakhala Game experience and see Cheetah, Lion, Buffalo, Elephant and a number of other animals in their natural environment.
If you are a mountain bike nut then the Zuurberg Mountain pass is a must for you.
Hiking in the Zuurberg section of Addo National Elephant park is great. You will go from The heather biome down the mountain into the Afro Mountain forests
Visit the Cheetah Breeding Centre and learn how the breed and release cheetah on private game farms.
